whn I arrived in bkk on the 10th nov, aft checking in, went to walk around..
And have some street food..then aft that, we go to the ngiht bazzar
And we really shop there..hahah..we couldn’t finish the whole bazzar..
But they are gonna close, so we went back to the hotel..

Tues, went out agn, went to some shopping mall…and temple to pray…
And the LV and Gucci are much more expensive here compare to Singapore..
Even aft my tax refund, so not worth to buy it here..
Then went to another wholesale mall and shop..really shop till im tired
Before heading back to the hotel..aft that, we got the staff to find empty box for us..
Cos we are going to chaingmai, and we are not gonna bring all those things we buy there.
We are temporary keeping it at my fren’s fren place, then we went out dinner with her..
So aft that, it was a small gathering for them, so I sat quietly and stare, cos I don’t understand their language..and since they hardly get to see each other, I don’t want interrupt too..hahaha..

So the next morning, we check out, then headed to the bus station to buy tickets to chaiangmai..
The tickets doesn’t really cost that much, about 600 baht per person…
And to me, its worth the money, cos it include lunch, snacks, drinks. So I quite like it too..
The journey was about 8 hours, and the bus broke down when we are about to reach..
And since its loh katong there are some road closure inside the town, we waited one hr
For a van to pick us up. And we almost got no hotels cos of the festival..cos we did
Not booked in adv. Anyway, we reached just in time for the celebration..aft checking in..
We went to the riverside, bought one of the hot air latern, write our wishes on it..
And then we light it.. see it rising and then disappear slowly into the sky..
And we also light a lantern and release it into the river, aft that..we went to the bazzar there..
They have their traditional costume and many things for sales..
And the things there are really very cheap..and make me so tempted to buy..hahah..
And I really buy a lot in chiangmai too..i think this trip I really spent a lot..

2nd day there not much to do..so we woke up late..and aft that, we went out..
Hired a tut tut and ask him to bring us to the zoo there..
They have pandas imported from Taiwan..and the pandas there are leading a good life..
They just eat, slp and play..live in air con environment..hahah..and since my fren can speak thai..
They thou im a thai too, so I managed to save on the tickerts..
Thai-120baht foreign-520 baht..see the difference..!!!

The the next day, we went with tour for some sightseeing…whole day 800baht..
First, we went to the elephant camp, and see their performance, aft that we can take some
Pictures with them, and I swear, they are really smart..aft you take a picture with them..
They will ask you for tips.. so if u don’t give, its kinda awkward cos there will be ppl looking at you..
Aft that we went for an ox cart ride with cover part of the jungle trek, where those tribe ppl live…
And then we come back riding on the elephant… aft that, the tour guide asked if we want to see
Snake or money performance.. but im not interested, so I opt for the tiger kingdom..
Its so cool.. ahahah, I get to touch and take pictures with a real tiger…
Actually wanted to go to the big tiger cage and the small tiger, about 4-7mths..
But we only got 30 mins, so only managed to go the the small tiger cage..
But its ok, im contented..hahah..shall visit the other one whn I got the chance in future..
And at night, they are celebrating the last day of the festival, they got a parade, something like
Out chinggay…but at least, there is not that strict..they never put barrier, so we can cross over
Any time we want as long as we don’t get in the way of the performance

My last day in chiangmai.. we rented a motorbike, went to a temple that’s quite famous here..
You got to climb your way up and there are 200 steps.. and its quite uphill..cos we could see the view of
Chiangmai whn we are there..so we were panting like mad whn we are up there…ahhaha..
Went to pray and walk aound..and I got a good lot from there..hahah..
On our way there, there is this little girl..i think she is only mayb 7 or 8..
But she really know how to earn money..whn we are walking down..
She was telling ppl to take picture with her..if nobody take with her, she don’t have money to eat.
So we went to take picture with her..and half the time, she never looked at the camera..
Another woman want to take with her..
She tell her to queue up, she busy taking photo now..hahha..the woman got a shock..
Anyway she still took with her aft we left..anyway the girl spoke in thai..
So that’s what my fren interprete for me..hahah…
Yeah..my trip for chiangmai ended, and now, heading to the village…staying there for 10days..
